Exit polls see DMK, LDF wins in south, divided over Bengal

Exit polls on Thursday predicted victories for the NDA in Assam, LDF in Kerala and the DMK-led front in Tamil Nadu, but disagreed on who would form the next government in West Bengal. If the polls prove right, it would mean a major setback for the Congress and AIADMK, sizeable gains for the BJP and DMK and a mixed bag for the Left.
