Activists demand reforms

Downtown lexington.proteste rs have been vocal about the reforms they're demanding.

Protesters say these types of contracts block accountability.

One demand, is the city not pay for legal representation..

If an officer is accused of misconduct.

Taylor says they want to see an end to "no-knock raids"... and cheapside park to be renamed.

It used to be a place where slave trade happened.

And they want to see an end to the disqualification of misconduct complaints submitted too many days after an incident occurs.

Taylor says they know the police contract is up at the end of the month.
